All other
medical system except surgery are extensions of TCM. This would include drugs, chiropractic, massage, physical therapy and
the others. TCM is the original functional medicine. The philosophy of TCM and acupuncture is to treat
the body so it returns to its normal function, because when function is normal there is no illness. Drugs do
not do this!! That is why you must continue to take them. Drugs treat the symptoms of a problem and not the problem
